Tan Egeli

Investment Manager

Having graduated from Delaware University Department of Business Administration in 1992, Tan Egeli got his master's degree (MSIA) from Carnegie Mellon University, Tepper Business School.

After starting his career in 1994 at Citibank, Egeli served as a senior executive at establishments of Citicorp Securities, İnter Yatırım Securities and BSI Bayındır Securities in that order between 1996 and 2001 especially as responsible for international capital markets and asset management. After leaving BSI Bayındır Securities where he served as a Board of Directors Member and General Manager between 1998 and 2001, he lay the foundations for Egeli & Co. Financial Services Group by founding Egeli Consulting in 2002.

In result of the partnership he established in 2007 with British Ashmore Group which is known for its investments in developing markets, in 2008 Egeli founded Ashmore Asset Management, the first asset management company operating in Turkey with independent foreign capital. Until 2009 he served as CEO at Ashmore Turkey and Chairman of the Board at the subsidiaries of the Company.

While serving as General Manager at Egeli & Co. Asset Management, Tan Egeli also serves at Egeli & Co. Group companies Egeli & Co. Agriculture Investment Trust, Egeli & Co. Investment Trust, Egeli & Co. Corporate Support Services, Egeli & Co. Financial Investments, Batı Agriculture, EGC Energy and Simya Agriculture Investments as Chairman of the Board and as Board of Directors Member at İstanbul Erkek Liseliler Foundation. Tan Egeli speaks German and English and holds Capital Markets Board Advanced Level and Derivatives Licenses.

İlker ARDAL

Investment Manager

Having graduated from Istanbul University, Faculty of Business Administration, Ilker Ardal started his finance career as a research analyst and served for Egemen Securities, Ekinciler Securities and Interbank. After gaining experience in portfolio management, he served as a manager in treasury department of Bank Kapital, as a senior executive at Ege Asset Management, Oyak Retirement and Vakıf Asset Management. Prior to joining to Egeli Asset Management, Ardal served as senior asset manager in HSBC. Having over 20 years of finance experience in Turkish Capital Market, Ilker holds Capital Market Activities Advanced Level License, Derivative Instruments License and received a MsF degree from Koc University.

Guldem Atabay Sanli

Investment Advisor

Having graduated from Middle East Technical University of Business Administration, Guldem Atabay Sanli got her master’s degree from Hacettepe University. After starting her career in Karon Securities (1995-1997) as investment specialist and she served as Analyst in Research Department in Global Securities (1997-1998). Prior to joining Egeli & Co. Asset Management, respectively she served as as economist in Ege Securities (1998-2002), as economist in Raymond James Securities (2002-2003), as Chief Economist of Turkey in Ekpress Invest ( 2003-2011) within the scope of Denizbank and as economist in Research Department in UniCredit Securities (2011-2012). Sanli holds Capital Market Board Advanced Level License.
